S.P.U.R. Pathways: Shared Purpose, Unlimited Reach – A Catalyst for Underrepresented Business Growth
S.P.U.R. Pathways: Shared Purpose, Unlimited Reach, is a multiyear, multifaceted funding program to advance entrepreneurial growth, close wealth gaps, and shatter systemic barriers faced by underrepresented/underserved businesses. This innovative effort, created in partnership with Momentus Capital, advances a long-standing Macy’s, Inc. commitment to underrepresented/underserved businesses and aims to galvanize the retail industry to invest in the next generation of entrepreneurs.
Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses
Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses at Salt Lake Community College is a program to help small businesses grow and create jobs by providing them with greater access to education, capital, and business support services. To date, more than 700 business owners have graduated from the program in Utah with more than 10,000 graduates across the United States.
Recruitment for cohort 37 is underway. Classes start in September, so plan ahead and apply today!
Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses is a business mastery course that is 100% scholarship-based, meaning it only costs scholars their time and commitment to succeed. This proven program helps business owners scale up their businesses with a growth strategy, relevant in-class instruction, and business advising.
DoorDash and Hello Alice Restaurant Disaster Relief Fund
To help restaurants recover in times of critical need, DoorDash has partnered with Hello Alice to create the Restaurant Disaster Relief Fund. The fund supports restaurants impacted by natural disasters, severe weather events, or major infrastructure failures, and provides relief through $10,000 grants.

Comcast Rise
Comcast RISE is a multi-year commitment to provide marketing, creative, media, and technology services to small businesses owned by people of color. Applications are open!
Each business selected will receive all of the following benefits:
CONSULTATION
Assessment of business and tactical planning; business-to-business coaching; and mentorship to advise on how to grow business.
EDUCATION RESOURCES
Educational content and resources tailored to individual companies based on where they are in their business lifecycle.
MONETARY GRANT
$5,000 monetary grant to invest in growth and sustainability.
CREATIVE PRODUCTION & MEDIA
Turnkey production of a 30-second TV commercial, plus a media strategy consultation and 180-day media placement schedule.
TECHNOLOGY MAKEOVER

SBIR Ignite
SBIR Ignite is an initiative that encourages small businesses to develop more commercialization-focused technologies. This initiative is ideal for high-growth, product-oriented entrepreneurs, startups, and small businesses that have not worked with NASA before. It provides an opportunity to use NASA as a stepping stone on the path toward commercial success. SBIR Ignite reduces the gap between startups and investors, funding U.S. small businesses in their early stage, high-risk technology development to help make the company and their technologies more attractive to private sector investors, customers, and partners. Ultimately, Ignite drives the nation’s economy, increases capabilities delivered to commercial markets, and adds growth in jobs, revenue, and valuation. The 2025 NASA SBIR Ignite Phase I Solicitation is scheduled to open in Summer 2025.
